Wow, a lot of “Gone Gold” announcements in the past few days. Today it’s Midway’s turn it seems as they were happily spreading the word that the Xbox 360 version of John Woo’s Stranglehold has reached Gold status, meaning the game is now finished and has been sent off to the presses.

The full Xbox 360 version of the game will ship in North America on September 5th and in Europe on September 14th. Don’t forget, there’s also a demo of Stranglehold on Xbox LIVE if you haven’t yet checked it out. The release date for the Xbox 360 exclusive Mass Effect was announced today - November 20, 2007.
