BioWare’s highly anticipated RPG Mass Effect has been getting quite a bit of attention today since The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) has given the game a 12 rating for “moderate violence and one sex scene.”

Depending on who you choose to play the game as and what choices you make along the way, the sex scene may take place between a man and a woman or two women, one of whom may be an alien.

From the classification: “If playing as a male character the scene can take place between him and a human woman or a humanoid female alien. If playing as a female character the scene can take place between her and a male human or a female humanoid alien.”

One version of the “brief and undetailed” sex scene is also said to include breast nudity. Did Mass Effect’s pre-orders just went up ?
