DreamCather has released seven new screenshots and a short gameplay video from Painkiller: Overdose. The screens are in the Painkiller: Overdose gallery, video above. For some reason the video shows really bad framerate but it seems to be the videos and not the games fault as even the logo at the beginning fades in and out sluggishly. The first Painkiller game run absolutely flawlessly and was praised because of it, so it’s really doubtful the developers would release a game that runs this badly.

FPS fans can expect the fast-paced, adrenaline-fueled, frantic-styled gameplay of the original Painkiller along with 8 new demonic weapons, mind-bending physics, lightning multiplayer maps, over 40 demented and sickly-twisted monsters from Hell and gigantic end bosses that will blow your mind!

Painkiller: Overdose will hit stores later this month, on October 23rd.
