Army of Two delayed
BY Rain Anderson Oct. 23rd, 2007

EA has delayed their two-player co-op combat game Army of Two until early next year. Apparently the company has plans to establish it as a lasting EA franchise:

Head of EA Games, Frank Gibeau: “..getting the first title right is essential.”

Analyst Michael Pachter weights in: “It’s an important game for them if they hope to establish it as a franchise. It shouldn’t have much of an impact, but the market always seems to assume the worst about the company.”

The game was previously supposed to be released next month for both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
