Assassin’s Creed reaches gold status
BY Rain Anderson Oct. 26th, 2007

Despite little problems reported by Creative Director Patrice Désilets a while ago, the development of Assassin’s Creed is 100% completed and the game has reached gold status. Obviously recent speculation of Ubisoft delaying the title along with a few other of its heavy hitters until next year is anything but true.

Jade Raymond, producer of Assassin’s Creed: “We’ve been working very hard for nearly four years to make Assassin’s Creed a reality and now there is a confirmed date when players will get to experience the results of our efforts. This is a huge event for the team. Our biggest reward will be everyone having a lot of good solid fun.”

The ‘M’ rated Assassin’s Creed ($59.99) and also its Limited Edition ($69.99) will be released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 13th in North America and November 16th in Europe. If you pre-order Assassin’s Creed at GameStop, you’ll get an exclusive art book when you go pick up the game.

There’s no news on when the PC version will be finished unfortunately, however it shouldn’t be too far behind and is expected early next year.
