The people who have really been looking forward to Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune will be happy to know that the developers have no plans to stop with just one Uncharted game. According to Naughty Dog co-president Christophe Balestra, this will be a new franchise for Naughty Dog, just like Crash and Jak & Daxter were.
Balestra told OpposableThumbs: “..of course Uncharted will be a franchise. It takes a lot of effort to create a universe like Uncharted and there is so much more we want to do. It would be a waste if we didn’t have a sequel to make it even better than the first one.”
And, as the release date approaches, a new trailer for the game has been released. This one shows off the lush environments, plenty of gameplay and some glimpses of the story.
Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune will be available on November 19th with a demo available on PlayStation Network prior to the release.
