SEGA has released the first teaser trailer from their new title VIKING: Battle For Asgard, where you’ll immerse yourself in Norse mythology as a Viking warrior named Skarin. We’re not sure if the trailer is made of in-game footage but it looks like it actually may well be. The game is in development for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and is planned for early next year.

Gary Knight, European Marketing Director SEGA Europe, is certainly very optimistic: “Skarin is a cutting edge hero in a fantastic re-imagining of Norse Mythology. Skarin is obviously a very dangerous man. Add in his inner conflict, a confused heritage and a growing distrust of the Gods and you have the makings of gaming’s next great hero.”
