With the recent rumors of a big Microsoft first-party title getting canceled, developer Lionhead Studios has re-affirmed their fans that Fable 2 is not the game in question.

Here are two quotes from two members of the Fable 2 dev team, posted on the official Lionhead forums.

“No, we are not cancelled.”

“It’s not Fable 2, I can tell you that much.”

There’s still no news of which game is getting the boot but the last quote leads us to believe there’s really is some merit to the rumor.
