BY Rain Anderson Nov. 30th, 2007

AcroGames has announced that it has licensed Unreal Engine 3 an upcoming project. The developers at AcroGames have helped create best-selling titles in Korea such as NCsoft’s “Lineage II” and Softmax’s “Magna Carta” series.

The company didn’t release any details as to what kind of a game they’re developing but CEO and game director HyunTae Jeong did say they are very satisfied with the engine and they’re finding that Unreal Engine 3 is extremely flexible and quite capable of meeting their development needs.

Jay Wilbur, vice president of Epic commenting on the deal: “AcroGames is a promising team comprised of top talent and we look forward to working with them. We are committed to supporting the Asian game market with best of breed development tools, and our agreement with AcroGames marks a significant achievement in this effort.”
