Fans of PS3’s Heavenly Sword have reason to be optimistic as the spokesperson for Ninja Theory repeatedly referred to the game as “Heavenly Sword 1″ during the launch event of Games Eden, a new business network that will help to promote, support and develop the digital games entertainment community in England.

While Heavenly Sword didn’t turn out to be the critics’ favorite as a lot people expected, it’s was still a solid game with parts of it done extremely well and just grabbing your attention. And considering it’s still one of the best games on the PS3, they indeed should make a sequel. Especially as Heavenly Sword was originally meant to be the first game in a three-game story anyway.
