After the announcement of Bungie splitting from Microsoft and going independent, there have been speculations as to what Bungie’s next project will be and on what system(s) it will be released on. Well, as you no doubt decrypted from the title of this post, one of these questions is now answered.

Two Bungie employees have revealed in a reader interview that the company has no plans to work with any other system than Xbox 360.

Frank O’Connor, writing lead: “We have no plans to work on any other platforms beyond 360 at this time.”

Jonty Barnes, production director: “Microsoft have been good friends to us. You can see the strength of our relationship in Halo. We’re really focused on continuing our collaboration in making the best games we can, and that right now is on 360.”
