The PS3 version of Assassin’s Creed has had a number of problems since the day it launched. With annoying issues like freezing, geometry clipping, serious frame rate issues plus lock-ups and crashes, a lot of people were not happy campers.
But Ubisoft has been busy at work and has now released a patch as promised. No official fix list has been released that we know of but some people on gaming forums have said that it indeed fixes their frame rate issues and lock-ups. On the other hand, others say it does absolutely nothing for them and their game is still buggy and in some cases even unplayable for more than 5 minutes at a time because of the constant freezes. So it looks like Ubisoft still has some work to do..
