Take-Two Interactive has announced that they’ve formed a new studio - 2K Marin - under its 2K publishing label. The new studio is located in Novato, California, and will focus on creating new AAA original intellectual property.

Christoph Hartmann, President of 2K: “We’re focused on continuing to bring new brands and cutting-edge gameplay to market with the creation of the 2K Marin studio. 2K Marin will build upon our success in creating and leveraging AAA franchises.”

The studio will also co-develop products with 2K’s other studios located in Asia, Europe, Australia and North America.
