Sin City dev chooses Unreal Engine 3
BY Rain Anderson Dec. 23rd, 2007

Red Mile, the company that earlier this year bagged the license to develop games based on the Sin City series of graphic novels by Frank Miller, has announced that they’ve chosen Epic’s Unreal Engine 3 to power the games. As it’s proven to be mandatory in announcements like this, here are quotes from the big shots of both companies that were included in the press release.

Glenn Wong, president and COO for Red Mile: “The Unreal Engine is one of the most technically advanced engines on the market and is a perfect fit for our Sin City video games. The engine has powered several of the best-selling games of all time and I am very glad we have the opportunity to arm our developers with such a world-class product.”

Mark Rein, vice president of Epic Games: “We’re extremely excited to be working with Red Mile. We have been Frank Miller / Sin City fans for a long time and are pleased that our technology will be a key factor, and we’re confident that they’re going to make a great game with it.”

Great choice on game engines. There is so much the Unreal Engine can do.
