Microsoft investigating Halo 3 armor hack
BY Rain Anderson Jan. 1st, 2008

A few days ago news was spreading that some jealous soul(s) has been hacking the account of a Halo 3 gamer with the purpose gaining control of the special Halo 3 Recon Armor that Bungie had given him. The Recon Armor was made specially for use by Bungie employees and a few select others they choose to give it to.

Well, looks like Microsoft heard the screams of gamers and is doing something about it. Kotaku’s Brian Crecente got in touch with Xbox LIVE’s Director of Programming Larry Hryb who said that he’s been in contact with the gamer himself and that their security team has indeed launched an investigation into the matter.

Hopefully they’ll get to the bottom of this soon enough. We’ll keep you updated once new information is released.

It’s spelled differently in the US and UK, megadeath. Just like other countless words.
