Despite being available for just four months in 2007, Halo 3 became the most played Xbox 360 game based on Xbox Live connectivity, Major Nelson writes. Having sold 8.1 million copies so far, that’s not really surprising.

Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles grabbed the top spot as the most sold Arcade game and Halo 2 naturally still rules the original Xbox. Check the Top 10 lists after the break.
