Dragon Ball Z game announced for X360, PS3
BY Rain Anderson Jan. 16th, 2008

Anime fans rejoice! A Dragon Ball Z game is headed for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 — or next-generation consoles, as Atari still likes to call them. Called Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit, the game is promising to revolutionize the series by delivering a “new level of DBZ intensity, next-gen graphics, online gameplay and lightning fast action.”

From press release: “Complete with fierce online battles, cinematographic graphics and 3D effects only possible on the Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3, Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit will blur the line between the videogame and the iconic anime series. Jam-packed with graphically enhanced playable characters, realistic battle stages and environments, players can experience the Dragon Ball Z universe as never before.”

Looks as if the game has been in development for a while already as it’s currently scheduled for a 2008 release. They sent out the first three screenshots as well, visit our freshly opened Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit gallery to check them out.
