Gamer Deals of The Week

It seems to be a pretty ok week in gaming deals as far as I can see. I’m not sure what I’m more excited about, my pick for deal of the week or the tidbit of Playstation 2 news I just received, but we’ll save that for last…

Amazon is offering a GTA IV license plate for a limited time only when you buy the GTA IV Special Edition for $89.99, along with all the other extra merch the special edition has to offer. You also get a sweet beanie and a demo disc when you pre-order Turok for $59.99 at BestBuy.

Still on BestBuy, XBoxers can rejoice with five free HD DVD movies IF they want to splurge $179.99 for an HD DVD player for their 360.

Crysis and Call of Duty 4 for the PC are now available for $39.99 at CircuitCity.

Target has video game chairs on sale for $39.99, and you get to pick between black and red(does lime green dye cost so much that we can’t have that option?! Oh, going off topic…). If solid colors don’t get your analog stick rotation, you can get this kind for $49.99, and you can choose between black/blue and black/red.

The video game chairs(both kinds) are definitely my pick for deal of the week, seeing as how you’d usually have to shell out about $100 or more for a good one. I can get past the lack of color choices because I really want one, and this is totally affordable.

As for the PS2 tidbit, I jumped for joy when I read that “Silent Hill Origins”, the PSP prequel to the first Silent Hill, is being ported to the Playstation 2 and will see a release soon, probably around March, if you want to believe Amazon and GameFly. Hopefully, we’ll also get some bonus content, similar to when Silent Hill 2 ported to the XBox, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see, cause KONAMI isn’t saying anything.

Well, that’s all for now. Buy cheaply, and happy gaming!
