The January 2008 issue of PlayStation World Magazine brings news that a Metal Gear Solid 4 demo will arrive on PlayStation Network in February. After describing the level they got to play, the article ends with: “Want more MGS4? Well you’ll get it very soon. The stage played here will be out on the PSN Store in the next month.”

Sounds great but seeing as people from Kojima have denied the demo on several occasions, let’s treat this as a rumor for now just in case.

But if it will happen, the demo will apparently be of the level that we’ve all seen demonstrated many times over, the one where Snake uses his camo to blend in with some statues to avoid being detected by a passing group of soldiers. A lenghty video of the same level has been available on the PSN Store for a while now.
