Recent info from Famitsu and Dengeki Magazines reveal that Square Enix is planning to release a demo for Final Fantasy XIII. Apparently the new battle system is fancy enough that they want gamers to have a little taste of it prior to the games release. Unfortunately, not even the vaguest of release dates was given but what Square Enix’s Tetsuya Nomura did say was that 2008 will be “the year” for FFXIII. Apparently we should brace ourselves for a lot of news about the highly anticipated RPG.

As for when the full game might be released, this little hint was given: “I wonder when we’ll be able to sleep…”
