A financial report released yesterday shows that Ubisoft has once again delayed their (timed?) PS3-exclusive Haze. The game is now scheduled for fiscal 2008 release (April 1, 2008 - March 31, 2009).

News of the most recent delay came just earlier this month when Ubisoft set a January-March 2008 release window for the game. Ubisoft Montreal’s Audrey-Ann Milot then said they decided to delay the game in order to put finishing touches on it. Well, it seems the finishing touches were not quite final enough.

Some have called Haze the PS3’s Halo and considering the amount of hype surrounding it, the game has a lot to live up to. So getting things right is essential. And it seems the developers are committed to their new franchise, as they’re already working on downloadable content that “isn’t just useless sh*t like new skins” either.
