The first Resistance 2 images that were shown in GameInformer magazine a while back have now been released as proper quality screenshots. Or, bullshots, I should say. Like all Halo 3 (gallery) and Project Gotham Racing 4 (gallery) screenshots, these Resistance 2 shots show a bit too much AA to be 100% actual in-game gameplay. It seems as if they’re taken in some kind of a photo mode where AA gets added to, effectively eliminating all jaggies and leaving a much more pleasing result to look at.

Other than that, it’s nice to see developers breaking away from the ‘next-gen=gray’ formula and actually adding some color to their games. Check out all seven screenshots in our newly opened Resistance 2 gallery.
