Sony Computer Entertainment America has finally announced the date for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue - the title will be available at retail and on PlayStation Store starting April 17th, with $39.99 price tag. If you’re planning on getting the boxed version then you can expect it to include an behind-the-scenes video feature called “Beyond the Apex”. The video will show the developers at Polyphony Digital talking about the process of creating the game.

The April 17th date is for North America only however, no info on when the game might see daylight in other regions has been released quite yet.
