EA is going to break up the golden team of games, known together as The Orange Box, and sell them separately. EA’s CEO John Riccitiello dropped the news during a recent conference call.

Two of the five games — Half-Life 2 and Half-Life 2 Episode One — are already available separately, meaning HL2:Episode Two, Team Fortress 2 and Portal are going to join them at retail in their very own shiny boxes. This only goes for PC however, the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of The Orange Box will remain untouched.

As for release dates or pricing, Riccitiello didn’t drop any hints.
