Since its release, the people at Bizarre have been quietly working on a DLC for Project Gotham Racing 4 to keep the fans of their mighty racing game happy. And today they’ve officially announced the details (be sure to check out the screenshots of the new stuff in the PGR4 gallery, the first seven are the new ones).

There will actually be two different DLC’s - one will be available for free, the other will cost 400 Microsoft Points.

The free one includes the hydrogen-powered 2007 Peugeot Flux (pictured, winner of the 2007 Peugeot International Design Competition by the way) and two new game modes. One of them is the player-requested Tourist Mode, letting you tool around any city in the game checking out sights with your friends. And the second one is Free Roam Cat and Mouse, where a slow mouse vehicle must avoid enemy cats. And you get another 10 achievements, too.

The 400 MS Point pack is the Challenge Pack and will include the same two game modes described above, a new World Challenge Arcade Mode (20 arcade events in 3 themed chapters) along with seven new cars and three new bikes. The cars: the 2008 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible Concept, 2007 Volkswagen Golf GTI W12-650, 2007 Peugeot Flux, 1987 BMW M3 E30 DTM, 2007 Ferrari 430 Scuderia, 2008 Honda S2000 CR, and 2008 Callaway C16 Speedster. And bikes: the 2007 Yamaha YZF-R1, 1995 Aprilia RS 250, and 1998 Aprilia RSV 1000 Tuono R. Vroom!

The DLC will arrive on Xbox LIVE Marketplace next Thursday, February 14.
