A company called IG Fun is bringing BioShock to mobiles, it was announced today. The company has secured the global rights from 2K Games to develop and publish the underwater utopia gone wrong for the mobile platform. The parties involved are hoping that the mobile version of the game will “herald the next level in mobile game development and gameplay experience” and are confident of replicating the success of the genetically enhanced shooter on the mobile platform.

Sean Malatesta, CEO, IG Fun said: “We’re trying to do great things and BioShock on mobile promises to offer a whole new gaming experience and unmatched excitement amongst mobile gamers the world over. BioShock is a special game in its genre; it brings an element of conflicting morals which has an impact on the storyline, and, among other things, on the difficulty of the game itself.”
