According to Sony Computer Entertainment of Europe (SCEE), the Playstation 3 has recently surpassed the million units sold marker. And it did so faster than the Playstation 2 (which took 50 weeks), and the XBox 360 (which took about 60 weeks). The Wii holds the Euro record, selling a million in a cool 38 weeks.

With worldwide estimates at the New Year totaling around 10.49 million (units shipped or sold?!?!?!?), the UK accounts for about 10% of all PS3 sales. Not a bad number for one country.

Europe as a whole accounts for about 20-25% of PS3’s sold Internationally…….And accounts for 100% of all rugby games sold worldwide;)
