EA Stepping Its Game Up, New Franchises On The Way

In an announcement made by EA Sports’ president Peter Moore during an analyst presentation, it has been revealed that the company plans to release five new franchises in the next couple of years. Not too much has been said about what exactly these five new titles will be, or how they will play. But it has been confirmed that at least one of the titles will be geared to the casual audience (a la Carnival Games?). And we can probably count FaceBreaker as one of these five new IPs, with the remaining titles falling into their “core sports IPs”.

Moore also went on record to say that he would like to focus more on trying to get EA Sports’ titles to garner more appeal outside of the US market. And that the next installment of the FIFA and NBA LIVE franchises will have “exciting new innovations”.
