Looks like Sierra is making a clean sweep with World in Conflict. Already available on PC and on the way to the 360, Sierra has now announced that a PS3 version is in development as well and will arrive alongside the 360 version this fall.

The console versions of the highly praised strategy game will also include a host of new content, both single and multi-player, when compared to the PC version that was released last year. But fear not PC owners, you’ll get all the new stuff as well - in the form of an add-on. No more details on that yet but Sierra is promising to release new information soon.

Martin Tremblay, Sierra Entertainment’s president of worldwide studios, says the game is being reinvented for consoles (by Swordfish Studios, unlike the PC version which was developed at Massive Entertainment) and that its innovative action-focused gameplay makes it a perfect fit for the transition. “World in Conflict on consoles will be an amazing extension of an already great gaming franchise,” he added.
