Monolith’s Disaster: Day of Crisis for Wii had many gamers salivating ever since it was first revealed. Who wouldn’t want to play the part of the hero who needs to save the world from terrorists who have stolen a nuke and are about to blow civilization back to the stone ages?

But the release of the game has been an utter mystery. Though there could be some light at the end of the tunnel now that a German retailer has dated the game for a May 30 release, CVG is reporting.

Hmm… We’ve yet to hear zilch on this game from the regular circuits. No impressions, press releases, nada. So who knows exactly what’s going on with this game, outside of this official but unofficial release date. All signs point to us assuming our best “hurry up and wait!” impersonation, and that’s being optimistic.
