Behind the scenes of Section 8

GameCock and TimeGate Studios have released a Section 8 behind the scenes video, showing a few of TimeGate’s top honchos talking about and praising their ambitious looking game.

According to Phillip Morales, the creative lead on Section 8, TimeGate is not looking to create a Crysis killer, or a Halo killer, but create their own universe that people will fall in love with and won’t want to leave.

Producer Robert Siwiak says Section 8 will be a “multiplayer FPS like non other out there” and an experience “where the predictability of other FPS games is thrown out the window”.

And TimeGate’s president, Adel Chaveleh, is promising a demo, so everyone can see what all the fuss is about.

A teaser site for the game has also been launched, sporting community forums and a few shiny wallpapers. Video after the break.

About Section 8: Section 8 is an intense first-person shooter that gives players unprecedented strategic control over the battlefield, employing tactical assets and on-demand vehicle deliveries to dynamically alter the flow of combat. Set at the crossroads of a growing insurrection among its colonies, Earth dispatches the elite 8th Armored Infantry to turn the tide. Utilizing advanced powered armor suits, these brave volunteers are the only ones crazy enough to smash through enemy defenses and drop directly into the battlefield from 15,000 feet, earning them the nickname “Section 8.”
