Continuing in the tradition of Halo 3, and Call of Duty 4, Dice will be holding a closed Beta test on Xbox 360 for its upcoming Battlefield: Bad Company. Although details about the Beta are scarce, we do know that the IGN network of sites, which include Fileplanet, IGN and TeamXbox will be releasing the keys. The Beta is scheduled to begin next Monday, March 17th.

Battlefield: Bad Company will be Dices first showing on new-gen systems. Following in the footsteps of previous Battlefield games, Bad Company will offer intense on line battles, and many weapons and vehicles to choose from. New to the Battlefield series will be a fully realized single player campaign, following a squad of scallywags on their journey through Europe in a search for gold. Using their new Frostbite engine, Dice is offering a much more ‘choose your path’ style of gameplay, with your ability to blow practically everything up. The game is scheduled for a June release.

Most likely it will start out for subscribers at first then 3-4 months later it will be open to all, with a limited amount of keys for the non subscribers.
