Eurogamer has put BioWare’s Matt Atwood through the paces about the upcoming PC version of Mass Effect. Atwood wants to set the record straight and let everyone know that the game isn’t going to be a direct port, but rather a “conversion.”

Atwood wants PC gamers to understand that all the galactic goodness of Mass Effect is intact, and that BioWare is fixing a lot of the issues found in the 360 version (you have the outspoken console fans to thank for that). Concerning downloadable content, PC gamers may be getting something a bit more polished than the console version, too. Let’s hope BioWare doesn’t forget about ‘early adopters’ of Mass Effect on the 360 and releases a patch to fix some of the issues after its PC brother is released this May.
