Microsoft has said that they believe downloadable movies is the wave of the future, and it appears that Netflix may be one of the believers. Reuters recently confirmed that Netflix has been surveying its subscribers to see if they have any interest in streaming movies onto their Xbox 360’s. For what reason exactly, you ask? To use as many ways as possible to provide their services to the consumer, says Netflix.

So where there’s smoke there’s fire? Could be. Considering that Netflix has been open about wanting to be on consoles and CEO Reed Hastings is a recent addition to the Microsoft board of directors, there could be some flames brewing indeed.
