This seems to be one of the biggest April Fool’s days that I can remember in a while. There has been a large barrage of different clips, such as a Zelda movie, but this one clip really caught my eye. At first I thought, “It’s just making fun of Metal Gear,” but then the clip got somewhat deeper. For the first time we get to see Snake fighting the “Gekkou” (also known as the Metal Gears with organic legs that go “Moo”) in real time. The video itself contains a lot of played footage, but still remains puzzling.

Now that MGS4 is practically ready for release, seems the like guys at Kojima had some time to play dress up and made Snake an Altaïr costume to run around in. Perhaps this could be unlockable content? Or maybe I’m just reading too much into this. Regardless, the video is a must watch with lots of action and footage of playable Gekkou fights.
