An end of an era for Sony |

Today is a sad sad day for not only PS3 gamers, but for gamers everywhere. Today, Sony has announced that the SIXAXIS controller is being discontinued and will no longer be available after its current stock of controllers runs out sometime this summer. This news comes just a week before the Dualshock 3 is set to release.
Although the SIXAXIS’ life was short it was also fascinating. With games like Lair and uh…Lair taking great advantage of what the SIXAXIS controller had to offer, it seemed as though it had a great long life ahead. But, then, late last year, Sony announced that it would be releasing the Dualshock 3 with rumble and motion controls. Much to the dismay of the SIXAXIS, PS3 gamers everywhere rejoiced and rallied behind the new technology. But, this is understandable, gamers have been spoiled by that feeling of vibration in their hands since the late 90s.
However, no matter how great the Dualshock 3 is, we must remember the even greater moments that we had with the SIXAXIS during those long Lair sessions. Now let us please take this time to offer a moment of silence…

But Lair was bad…I mean really bad. It made me hat the SIXAXIS with a passion and I didn’t even own the game.

Yea, i was trying to play dumb. Sarcasm on top of sarcasm never seems to work over the internet does it? There needs to be a sarcasm meter for typing.
Also I’m not sure what it means when I hat something, but I hat Lair really badly.

Maybe hat means that you are so embarrassed when playing the game that you wear a big hat to try to cover you face so that no one will recognize you.
