Guitar Hero: Aerosmith pre-orders get special treats
BY Thom DinsdaleApril 15th, 2008 More on:

If you enjoy bouncing around your living room to the blistering screams of Steven Tyler, but wish there was some way you could be more a part of the madness, then stop what you’re doing and get out your credit card. A number of US high street retailers are running pre-order promotions on the next installment in the series that’s been making the rocking world go round.

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith features songs spanning the seminal rock legend’s long chart-topping career as well as hits from their favorite groups like The Clash, Cheap Trick, Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, and more. Pre-ordering will give you access to a special bundle which includes a guitar, an exclusive Aerosmith faceplate, an Aerosmith tour book and of course, the obligatory game.

The promotion is currently running at most major US retailers.

Pricing for the different consoles is as follows:

  • $99 for Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii
  • $89 for PlayStation 2 wireless
  • $109 for the two-guitar (wired) PlayStation 2 bundle which includes both a black and silver guitar.
