On June 12th Metal Gear Solid 4 will launch for the PS3. When you pick up that special edition Metal Gear Solid 4 PS3 bundle you might want to pick up one more thing to improve your experience, or at least to push your MGS geekdom a little farther.

It’s been announced that the Metal Gear Solid 4 styled Bluetooth headset will be coming out alongside the game. Since it’s Bluetooth that means that not only will you be able to use it while playing Metal Gear Online (or other PS3 games that support online voice communication) online but you’ll also be able to use it with your cellphone. Just be sure to keep the talk low when it comes to nuclear powered mechs.

Other then the look it appears to be a pretty standard headset, with 8 hour talk time and 160 hour standby. With a $59.99 price tag, this is probably something that only serious MGS fans will buy. Now, if you don’t mind I’ve got to start saving up some money…I have something to buy on June 12th.
