Age of Conan beta open for registration

“Conan! What is best in life?”
“To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of teh n00bs.”

At least that’s how that line goes in Age of Conan – Hyborian Adventures. Funcom and Eidos’ new MMORPG is slated to launch on May 20th in most territories, but as early as May 1st, Hyboria will be open to 50,000 lucky beta testers.

Those who are granted beta keys will be able to start playing at 3pm GMT/9am EST on the 1st. All the classes and cultures will be available, but experience will be capped at level thirteen. Funcom justified the cap, explaining that their primary goal is to stress test the game, and that there is plenty of fun to be had, regardless.

In any case, the full game will be here soon. But if you want an early look, the registration pages for the beta are now open exclusively at You must have a FilePlanet membership, and love crushing your enemies, to apply.
