Skies of Arcadia sequel rumors |

SEGA ON, a German blog on all things SEGA has got the rumor mill gears turning on a possible sequel to the popular RPG and cult favorite Skies of Arcadia. The blog writes that according to “very reliable” and “close” sources over at SEGA, the sequel will drop sometime this year but that we shouldn’t be expecting any official announcements before Tokyo Game Show.
There’s apparently also a Wii version already in the works, and the game could also be getting released on PlayStation 3.
The Tokyo Game Show will take place October 9 - October 12, so I guess we’ll just have to sit still until then to see if there’s any weight to this rumor.

I will wet my pants…I haven’t got the chance to play the original but I WAS like hoping for it for so many years…my dad never got me that DC…If this is to be released in PS3 then I’ll be grateful, don’t care about graphics and whatnot, just give me that Skies of Arcadia game.

ps3 sucks it needs to be out on all systems if its gonna be on that peice, im sure sega will go through with it, it was popular then and got them money theyll come around to there sences. im excited

SEGA SEGA SEGA!! If this was posted in May 2008, then is this really true? Please, Sega, please, if you go on Youtube and look at the comments, especially on the music, you will SEE just how many people are demanding a sequel. Please, there are such dedicated fans to this epic RPG that a sequel would MAKE their LIVES. :) Including me, who named my rabbit after Fina. Please, Sega, please please please, PLEASE make a sequel, for any console, for any price, I WILL BUY IT. Thank you Sega, if you do this…

We need a Skies of Arcadia sequel!!! It’s my favorite video game of all time and hearing rumors without actually hearing real news is depressing…PLEASE SEGA!

I’m feeling very skeptical about this, it’s already october 2009 and no news updates.
