What’s next for Nintendo in the West?
BY Ashutosh Chhibbar May. 18th, 2008 More on:

Wii has been selling like hotcakes ever since its launch, the only problem is that while it’s a huge success with soccer moms and old folks by default, in order to keep hardcore gamers coming back to the system Nintendo has had to basically churn out all their big name titles in rather rapid succession. A new Mario platformer, Mario Party, Strikers, Kart, and of course Brawl have already become old news. Not to mention the Metroid and Zelda franchises which are now at the very back of gamers’ minds.

Now, having exhausted nearly every one of their most cherished franchises in little more than a year and a half, I thought it would be interesting to speculate on what Nintendo could be up to before all is revealed at the upcoming E3 event, with a particular focus on their Western developments.
