Ubisoft announces Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party
BY Luke WalkerMay 29th, 2008 More on:

Ok, cat’s out of the bag… or rather the Rabbid is out of the bag. Ubisoft has officially announced the third installment of the Rayman Raving Rabbids series for the Nintendo Wii and DS.

The first game had the Rabbids invading Rayman’s world, then they invaded our world in the second game. Now Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party has the Rabbids invading out television sets with mini-games spoofing our favorite shows (Deal or No Deal please!), movies, pop culture and even commercials.

As you can see from the preview, players will be able use the Wii Balance Board for an all new experience. To date, this is the second third party game that will be utilizing the Balance Board.
Yves Guillemot, president and chief executive officer at Ubisoft said, “The inclusion of the Wii Balance Board into the game was a huge source of inspiration for our development team and I guarantee you will see the Wii Balance Board used in ways that will be surprisingly unexpected!”

The first Rayman Raving Rabbids was there for the Wii at launch and showed how to use Nintendo’s new controls the right way for a hilarious collection of party games. If anyone can show how to use the Balance Board for something other than fitness it’s the team at Ubisoft.

Sadly, we won’t be able to find out any more news on this title till E3 later this year. Until then, keep your eyes locked on this space for any news that drops up to the game’s release this holiday season.
