The last time we talked about Dead Space we learned about several entertainment mediums EA has planned to extend the brand to. From animated films to comic books, EA feels very strongly about their new survival horror IP appealing to the masses. While we will not be seeing the film until October 31, the comic books hit shelves a few months ago.

Along with the paper comic books, EA has released video counterparts, and while the art style could be called less than stellar, the team behind Dead Space has managed to combine superb voice acting with a deep and intriguing story that may even be on par with Aliens, which it has been very closely compared to. There are currently three issues of the video comic available (one above, two below, be sure to hit the play button after selecting your birth date) and they all combine to make quite the build-up to the games release this Halloween.
