As I crawl across the interwebby on a daily basis I am amazed at the number of ridiculous stories related to GTA IV. So much so that I thought I would collate them into this list. So in no particular order…

1. Man beats policeman and steals police car
2. Califonia town driven mad by GTA IV
3. 13 year old pulls knife on teacher
4. Watchdog group use GTA fearmongering to gain donations
5. GTA IV blamed for “reprehensible” behaviour
6. Dukakis campaign manager complains about the plot
7. Will GTA IV blend?
8. Eight crimes blamed on GTA IV does this count as 8 separate ones?
9. Bad behaviour blamed on GTA IV I think it’s puberty.
10. Low tv show ratings blamed on GTA IV

As you can see all of these stories are ridiculous and in none of them can GTA be proven to have been a cause of whatever the problem is. It makes me laugh that people are always looking for someone or something to blame for their own problems and shortcomings. This is why we’re always suing each other for tripping over a rock or blaming our parents for our poor performance in bed (or is that just me?). Or maybe blaming GTA IV is cheaper than going into therapy.
