More Metal Gear rumors for the soul

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will undoubtedly be one of the biggest releases the PS3 has seen thus far. Seeing how everyone is talking about the game this week, why not keep the hype going? The rumor mill is back in production as expected, this time involving the next Metal Gear game. While we know Hideo Kojima has stated several times that MGS 4 is the final chapter in the Solid Snake story, he has not ruled out the possibility of another game in the Metal Gear universe.

This is where Russian site StarSniper comes in with alleged inside information about Metal Gear 3: Revolver Ocelot. Supposedly this PSP title will be unveiled at E3 next month and will chronicle the events between Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. You’re in control of a pre-possessed Revolver Ocelot as he works along side Big Boss while Outer Heaven is being created. A recruiting system similar to Portable Ops is said to be included. This blurry picture was given as evidence of the games production.

Now again, these are strickly unconfirmed rumors. The photo could be a ruse just as some rumors tend to be. But even if this isn’t true, who wouldn’t want to play as Ocelot? A good idea is a good idea afterall.
