Nintendo’s next revolution is out and while we try to discover if Wii Fit really works one thing is for sure, it’s turning heads and making money, which is really all that is needed for more people to jump on board — literally. Jillian Michaels, the celebrity fitness trainer known best for her work on the show The Biggest Loser, is jumping on the Balace Board band wagon and coming out with her own Wii fitness game. Jillian Michaels’ Fitness Ultimatum 2009 will have players enrolling in her new boot camp where they will have an “ever-changing series of workouts.”
Workouts will cover four basic areas: Weight Loss, Strength Training, Intervals and Hill Climb using both the Wii remote/Nunchuk combo and the new Balance Board in games/challenges like crossing monkeybars (huh?), climbing ladders and rowing.
Players will be able to set the difficulty to light, medium or hard, as well as adjust the workout time from 10 to 60 minutes. The game will keep track of your progress just like Wii Fit and as you progress you will unlock more materials including fitness video tips from Jillian herself.
One cool feature will be Competitive Party Mode where players will race each other through individual challenges or a complete Physical Training course. Certainly not a party game to look forward to like Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party, but it could be fun all the same.

Just to make it clear I only have enough time to prove that Wii Fit works and will not be enjoying this …cleavage. I’m sorry I lost my train of thought there.

Don’t worry, I’ve got your back. I’ll review it, but only for the unlockable content of her working out.
