Is Wii’s software support improving?

Tenchu 4

The Tenchu series first started life on the PSX in 1998 with the well received Tenchu: Stealth Assassins. The game has since spawned many sequels and spin-offs on most major platforms, the most recent being Tenchu Z on the 360. What’s also evident is that since the series has left Acquire (the original developer), the games have been steadily declining in quality, culminating in some truly terrible portable installments. This trend looks set to change however as Tenchu 4 is once again being developed by Acquire who are looking to rejuvenate the series that they themselves started. The screens and footage so far show the game to be one of the better looking third-party efforts on the Wii, and the potential for Wii controls are obviously tremendous.
