Brain Quest DS. Yep, yet another brain game.
BY Luke WalkerJune 25th, 2008 More on:

The DS is getting yet another “brain” game this September. Coming from EA’s Casual Entertainment label, the game is based on the best-selling Brain Quest quiz card game series published by Workman Publishing Company.

Brain Quest DS will have two versions, one for 3rd and 4th graders and another for 5th and 6th graders, each having over 6,000 unique curriculum based questions. Kids can jump right in with Brain Mode which features fast-paced quiz games on English, history, math, science and geography, and as players progress they will unlock collectibles used to decorate six “cool scenes.”

There will also be a Quest Mode that takes players through a light, fun story with questions becoming increasingly difficult, as well as a multiplayer mode where you can challenge friends in competitive or cooperative game modes.

The card based Brain Quest series has sold more than 28 million copies and we all know how successful the brain games and Touch Generation has been for Nintendo, so it’s definitely a match made in heaven. Brain Quest DS will retail in North America for $29.99, which seems a bit steep; but it is releasing just in time for school, so get ready kids because this one should have parents buying.
