Two new Chocobo adventures for the DS announced
BY Brittany Vincent Jul. 9th, 2008 More on:

I’m a Final Fantasy junkie, so when anything related to the series is announced, my first reaction is to squee and/or jump for joy. Having thoroughly enjoyed the quirky mini-game romp that was Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales, I’ve been itching for more games featuring the golden birds ever since with which to fill up my plate. Lucky for me, Square Enix has announced not one, but two titles for the DS, both with equally long names.

Chocobo and the Magic Storybook: The Witch and the Girl and the Five Valiant Men and Chocobo’s Mysterious Dungeon: The Labyrinth of Forgotten Time DS Plus will be hitting the DS next winter and this fall, respectively. The Magic Storybook will play out in a similar fashion to Chocobo Tales, hopefully bringing us more of the same adorable minigames that I couldn’t put down. For those of you who wanted to check out Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo’s Dungeon but haven’t a Wii to your name,  Chocobo’s Mysterious Dungeon: The Labyrinth of Forgotten Time DS Plus will be a specialized version just for your DS.

In the meantime, while I’m waiting for these games to ship, I’m going to be amassing an enormous supply of Gysahl Greens. Kweh!

Alright, I want to know which one of you punks glued googly eyes to this hunk of cheese! You think it’s funny to ruin food, huh?

It was me…the hard part wasn’t the eyes it hunting down a baby chocobo so I could glue it’s beak onto the cheese.

      Razak, you rapscallion!

Wait a minute…a beak? I thought someone had taken a peculiar bite already.
