Square Enix unveils full E3 line-up
BY Greg LockwoodJuly 10th, 2008 More on:

If you haven’t heard, a little gaming convention is coming up next week. You might have heard of it, it’s called the E3 Media and Business Summit, and quite a few big-name gaming publishers are attending. One of my personal favorites, Square Enix, is going to be there, and they’re bringing some of their upcoming games with them. I personally won’t be in Los Angeles for the event, but some of the TVGB crew is, and boy am I envious of them.

Square Enix is giving E3 goers a chance to get their hands on the upcoming Chrono Trigger for the DS, which I am really looking forward to. Chrono Trigger was my favorite Super Nintendo game of all time, and I’ll definitely be buying the DS version the day it comes out. Infinite Undiscovery, the new Square Enix Xbox 360 RPG will also have a playable build available among others. Joining the playable games is a handful of non-playable demos, such as The Last Remnant and Star Ocean: First Departure, which has never been localized for the US until now. There’s no mention of Final Fantasy XIII or any of the other Final Fantasy games besides the Final Fantasy IV remake for Nintendo DS, but I’m sure they’ll be there in some form. Right Square Enix?

Playable

Chrono Trigger - DS
Dragon Quest: The Chapters of the Chosen - DS
Final Fantasy IV - DS
Infinite Undiscovery - 360
Song Summoner: The Unsung Heroes - iPod

Non-playable

Star Ocean: First Departure - PSP
Star Ocean: Second Evolution - PSP
Star Ocean: The Last Hope - Xbox 360
The Last Remnant - 360 & PS3
EXIT - DS
The Legend of Kage 2 - DS
